Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure that parking tickets are accurately calculated, and the fee correctly collected by the customer.
  • Communicate with customers in a friendly and inviting manner, answering questions about parking operation including but not limited to hours of operation and rates.
  • Direct customers to open egress lanes to maintain speedy service and exits.
  • Accurately complete daily cashier shift report.
  • Coordinate with management on processing exception transactions.
  • Inform management of safety and security issues in a timely manner.
  • Snow removal in short durations in affected work area
  • Train other employees
  • Extra work duties including window cleaning, equipment wipe down, pick up trash/debris, direct traffic, and other duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Must be friendly and courteous with customers
  • Able to effectively communicate in English
  • Work independently
  • Capable of performing basic math calculations
  • Ability to learn to operate fee computer systems and processes, follow directions, and accept training practice/ follow up
  • Ability to work in a garage environment exposed to noise and crowds
