Since its modest beginning, the company has become the largest rent-to-own custom wheel and tire retailer in the nation with over 136 locations across 17 states. The company is also the 7th largest independently owned tire dealer in the country.
Rent A Wheel/Rent A Tire was founded on the principle of providing the highest quality product and service at the lowest price. We combined this mission with the offer of our 90 Days Same As Cash and rent-to-own flexible buying options. Many customers buy our products and services at retail to take advantage of our low prices using our 90 Days Same As Cash program to pay over 90 days. However, many customers like the flexibility of our 12-month, rent-to-own program. This "no obligation to buy" agreement gives customers the opportunity to try the wheels and tires and return them for any reason, where customers can pay off any time before the 12 month period and receive 50% off the remaining agreement value. Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year
collections experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous RTO experience
desirable.
Language Ability:
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and
correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Ability
to read, speak and understand Spanish desirable.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule
form. Ability to make critical decisions and exercise mature judgment.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Inventory software and Database software
