Auto Collections Specialist

Arlington, TX (76018) | 100% Onsite

$19/HR (INCREASES TO $22/HR UPON PERMANENT HIRE)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of recent collections experience (consumer or automotive preferred)

• Strong communication, active listening, negotiation, and basic computer skills

• Automotive finance or auto loan servicing experience

• Strong time management and multitasking abilities in a performance-driven environment

• Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset and ability to work mandatory overtime at month-end

• High School Diploma or GED required

COLLECTIONS COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

Pay: $19/hr (increases to $22/hr upon permanent hire)

Hours:

• Shifts between 8AM-9PM; two days off each week

• Monday–Friday shifts include 8AM–5PM and 12PM–9PM rotations

• Up to two Saturdays per month (8AM–2PM)

• One Sunday per quarter (2PM–8PM)

• Mandatory overtime required at month-end

COLLECTIONS ROLE IMPACT

You’ll help customers resolve past-due auto loan accounts while working toward clear individual collection goals. Your ability to connect with customers, negotiate solutions, and secure payment commitments directly impacts your success.

COLLECTIONS KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle inbound and outbound calls for past-due automotive loan accounts

• Negotiate payment arrangements and help customers resolve delinquent balances

• Work prioritized collection queues and follow established account-resolution strategies

• Accurately document conversations, payment commitments, and account activity

• Meet performance goals for customer contacts, payment commitments, call volume, and promises kept

COLLECTIONS Core Tools & Systems

• Automated collections management systems

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Call center phone systems and dialer platforms

• Customer account databases (CRM systems)
