Part-Time Collections Specialist

Oklahoma Center for Spine and Pain Solutions is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Collections Specialist to support our Revenue Cycle Management team. This position is responsible for insurance and patient collections, claim follow-up, payment posting review, denial resolution, and maintaining accurate account documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on unpaid insurance and patient balances
  • Resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies
  • Review aging reports and prioritize collections activity
  • Communicate professionally with insurance carriers and patients
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
  • Assist with payment posting review and account reconciliation
  • Support overall revenue cycle efficiency and clean claim processes

Qualifications:

  • Medical collections or billing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance claims, EOBs/ERAs, and denial management
  • Certified coder experience welcomed, but not required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience with EMR systems preferred (eClinicalWorks experience a plus)
  • Professional communication and attention to detail required

Schedule:

Part-Time — Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (24 hours weekly)

Pay: Competitive; based on experience, knowledge, and job proficiency.
