Job description

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Virtual Card Support Specialist within our payment’s division. This position falls under our Corpay line of business and is located in Brentwood, TN. In this role, the Virtual Card Support Specialist assists in the payment automation process through daily interaction with vendors of Corpay customers to resolve unprocessed payments. The VCSS team is responsible for placing calls on our customer’s behalf to report unprocessed payments and assist with payment completion. This position requires excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask, and advanced phone and customer service skills.

How We Work 

As a Virtual Card Support Specialist, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing: 

  • Assigned workspace in Brentwood, TN.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Support customers (and vendors) through outbound phone calls to resolve unprocessed or unsettled transactions.
  • Educate vendors on payment processes.
  • Verify contact information and remit-to information for processing of electronic payments.
  • Accurately enter information into the database.
  • Maintain accurate notes of supplier contact and reach-out attempts.
  • Create follow-up tickets based on vendors’ requests.
  • Collaborate with the Payment modifications and Vendor Retention teams to coordinate refunds and reissues.
  • Adhere to strict compliance procedures and maintain confidentiality related to the position.
  • Perform miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Skills

  • High school education or equivalent required. College coursework preferred.
  • Minimum of one-year customer service or data entry with customer contact experience.
  • Intermediate computer skills, and intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. Knowledge of CRM and ticketing software preferred.
