Program Manager, Commercial Card Products & Release Management
We are not accepting C2C or 1099 arrangements.
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives supporting Commercial Card products, digital payment solutions, and quarterly platform releases. In this role, you will partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and external payment network partners to drive execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring seamless delivery of customer-facing enhancements and technology releases.
You will serve as a key leader for release management activities across expense management, digital wallet, and virtual card programs while helping teams deliver high-quality product experiences at scale.
What You'll Do
Program & Release Management
  • Lead end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of quarterly product and technology releases.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate release readiness reviews, testing activities, stakeholder communications, and post-release assessments.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors.
Agile Delivery & Execution
  • Facilitate cross-team planning and execution activities to ensure alignment across product areas.
  • Lead Scrum-of-Scrums discussions to identify risks, dependencies, impediments, and delivery concerns.
  • Monitor and manage inter-team dependencies while ensuring timely resolution of blockers.
  • Promote Agile delivery best practices and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Product Operations & Governance
  • Support intake, prioritization, and backlog management processes.
  • Ensure adherence to Jira standards, governance requirements, and delivery best practices.
  • Maintain project documentation, reporting, stakeholder communications, and operational controls.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for release governance, policies, and procedures.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners, including payment networks and technology vendors.
  • Facilitate decision-making discussions and drive accountability across stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and strategic recommendations to leadership audiences.
Continuous Improvement
  • Support product team effectiveness through coaching, process optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Develop reporting and metrics that provide visibility into delivery health and performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team maturity, execution consistency, and release quality.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, Release Management, or Product Operations.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience leading technology and product release cycles.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Proven ability to identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Commercial Card, Corporate Card, Expense Management, Virtual Card, or Digital Wallet products.
  • Knowledge of payment ecosystems, card issuers, and payment networks such as Visa and Mastercard.
  • Experience working within large financial institutions or highly regulated environments.
  • Strong business analysis and requirements management capabilities.
  • Experience supporting product launches, implementations, or client onboarding initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and lead through collaboration.
