We are searching for a B2B Payment Optimization Manager. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in B2B payments sales or account management in the mid-market commercial and virtual card segment. This client-facing role will drive revenue by working closely with our existing customers to optimize their payments, including developing and executing supplier campaign strategies that maximize adoption of our virtual card and other payments products. This individual will collaborate closely with internal partners including Supplier Enrollment, Customer Success, and Marketing to further support these initiatives.
What you'll own
  • Partner closely with existing clients to understand their payment needs, provide subject matter expertise, and drive adoption, growth, retention, and overall success of their payment programs, including virtual card solutions

  • Conduct in-depth spend analysis of client supplier data to deliver insights and recommend tailored supplier enablement strategies aligned with industry best practices
  • Lead the planning and execution of supplier enablement campaigns, including coordinating outreach with internal onboarding teams and conducting direct engagement with key strategic suppliers as needed
  • Manage ongoing client communication by providing updates on campaign progress, outcomes, and opportunities to optimize program performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless client and supplier experience while continuously evaluating processes and recommending improvements to drive efficiency and success

What you bring
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B payments, commercial/virtual card solutions, financial services, or merchant services, with a proven track record in client management and driving revenue through sales
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, ideally within B2B payments, financial services, or a related industry
  • Strong background in account management, sales, or customer success, with a focus on driving client engagement and revenue growth

  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, driving client retention, and building strong relationships within B2B payments
  • Strong sales and client management skills, including value-based selling, overcoming objections, and delivering impactful presentations
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) paired with strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented capabilities
  • Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Excel, and PowerPoint, with a high level of integrity and professionalism

Compensation
$115,000 - $120,000
The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
