Receptionist / Patient Account Representative Details
Essential Job Duties:
  • Greeting and welcoming patients with a friendly attitude.
  • Answer incoming calls, take messages, and route calls appropriately.
  • Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Schedule and cancel patient appointments, prepare, and maintain medical records.
  • Process transactions and reconcile cash with charges, assist patients with account inquiries and payment arrangements.
  • Provide training to new employees and perform other assigned duties.
Education, Training & Experience
  • Previous medical office/clerical experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Computer knowledge
  • Previous EMR experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
  • Must be accountable, self-directed, and possess great interpersonal and customer service skills.
