Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, performs receptionist and clerical duties for the District office. Answers and directs all incoming calls on multi-line phone system. Receives callers/visitors, determines nature of business and directs to appropriate destination.

Performs routine or specific clerical duties that can be completed in an environment of constant interruptions. The District Receptionist is a clerical position requiring previous experience operating a high volume telephone switchboard, well-developed customer service skills, and the ability to maintain order and control of a central waiting area. Advancement may occur to positions along the school and district clerical/secretarial career ladders with the appropriate skills and experience.
