About the Role:
NYM Federal Credit Union is looking for a friendly and motivated Member Services Representative to join our team in Brooklyn, NY! In this role, you'll be the face of our credit union — helping members navigate their financial needs with confidence and care. If you're passionate about people and community-focused banking, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist members in-person, by phone, and via digital channels with account inquiries and transactions
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers accurately and efficiently
  • Open new member accounts, including checking, savings, and certificate accounts
  • Educate members on credit union products and services to meet their financial goals
  • Resolve member concerns and complaints with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach
  • Maintain compliance with federal credit union regulations and internal policies
  • Support branch operations and collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless member experience
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in tellering, member services, customer service, or a financial institution REQUIRED
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a member-first attitude
  • Basic knowledge of banking or credit union products, services, and regulations
