Position: Construction Laborer
Overview:
Assist other crafts in constructing the project.  Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction projects.
Typical Duties:
  • Distribute materials and tools
  • Operate certain types of motorized equipment
  • Jack hammering
  • Clean and organize construction site
  • Pour concrete
  • Rig materials for lifting
  • Set materials in place
  • Give hand signal instructions to operators
  • Use of hand tools and power tools
  • Properly follow OSHA safety procedures
  • Responsible for other duties assigned for the job
Qualifications:
  • 1 years experience in field or related field
  • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
  • Ability to give and understand hand signals
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Applicants who are offered employment will be required to submit to a Drug/Alcohol test and a functional capacity evaluation. This evaluation, which applies to all incoming construction labor employees, is done to determine whether the employee is suited to and capable of performing the essential functions of the position offered.
