Job description

Skillforce is hiring Construction Laborers for ongoing project work in Mineral, Virginia. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for supporting the skilled trades on an active commercial construction site with material handling, hand tool work, demolition, and site cleanup. This is hands on field work where showing up on time every day matters. If you have one or more years on commercial construction sites, apply now!

Construction Laborer Pay:

  • $20.00 to $21.00 per hour based on your skill set and experience.
  • W-2 employment with weekly pay by direct deposit.

Construction Laborer Schedule:

  • Full time, Monday through Friday, day shift.
  • Overtime is available as the project calls for it.
  • Ongoing project work with a consistent weekly schedule.

Construction Laborer Responsibilities:

  • Assist skilled tradesmen with daily project tasks across the site.
  • Use hand tools to help assemble, install, and repair materials and components.
  • Move, stage, and stock materials so the crews stay productive.
  • Perform demolition and haul out debris and scrap.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and clear of trip hazards.
  • Take measurements and make basic calculations for accurate cuts.
  • Follow all site safety requirements and wear required PPE at all times.
