JBS is excited to announce a new position. We are seeking a Training and Development Specialist to provide support for the U.S. Coast Guard's Office of Logistics.

This position will be focused on developing and implementing a US Coast Guard governance structure for an enterprise support equipment program that integrates strategy, policy, processes, people, IT, training, maintenance, and operations throughout the USCG support equipment program.


Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in USCG aeronautical/ naval engineering practices and procedures as defined in COMDTINST Manual 13020.1 (series) or Naval Engineering Manual, COMDTINST M9000.6 (series).
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in aircraft, cutter/boat.
  • Minimum five (5) years of ALMIS/EAL/DSS experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years instructing or providing classroom training
  • Familiarity with configuration management principles
  • Strong communication skills with experience interfacing with government clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ALMIS, CG-LIMS, or similar logistics/maintenance systems
  • Background in maintenance policy, technical publications, or lifecycle sustainment

This position is contingent on successful contract award.


Selected candidate must be a US citizen. Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required. JBS participates in E-Verify.
