Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Training Assistant to provide administrative and operational support for its training department. This position plays a key role in coordinating employee onboarding and ongoing training initiatives, maintaining training records, assisting with learning management systems, and ensuring training programs are delivered smoothly. This role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and required training schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Serve as an administrative resource for the training department and communicate with employees across multiple departments.
  • Manage training calendars, meeting spaces, equipment, and room setup for training sessions.
  • Prepare training materials, communications, and documentation.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating the organization's Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Track employee training completion, certifications, and recertification requirements using Excel and internal systems.
  • Support trainers with classroom logistics and audio/visual equipment as needed.
  • Process training-related documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Create and edit email communications, reports, and training templates.
  • Perform general administrative support and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of administrative or office support experience required.
  • Previous experience supporting training, onboarding, or learning & development functions is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS), CRM, or similar enterprise platform.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel reporting and data tracking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable interacting with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Confident, professional, and proactive communication style.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience working within a Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) environment is a plus but not required.
