Job Description:
The Field Training Associate helps employees to reach their fullest potential by assessing individual employee needs, and then delivers "hands on" field training and educational programs that improve employee knowledge and skill, with an emphasis on safety and productivity. The Field Training Associate will accomplish this through training, leading by example, and by following safe work practices. The Field Training Associate will serve to supplement the employee training and development provided by the General Foremen and Crew Leaders. The Field Training Associate will participate in production related work activities and will be a productive member of the crew while training. Performs modularized training, new employee orientation and skill review, ranging from 5 to 40 participants covering various technical training that are both field and classroom based using hands-on learning techniques. Field Training Associate identifies training opportunities and implements in conjunction with Field Management's expectations. The Field Training Associate will perform incident investigations and perform root cause analysis. The Field Training Associate with document and distribute incident investigation, training programs and progress and policy information electronically. The Field Training Associate will drug and alcohol testing as applicable. The job position likely requires frequent to periodic travel. The ideal candidate will also be bilingual.
