•         Searching for reliable individuals

•         We are looking for process orientated candidates that are quality driven, attentive to detail and prefer a structured working environment to manufacture parts for the automotive industry.

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

•         Mentor and coach new production associates to further develop competencies and career paths.

•         Key contact between newly hired production associates and effected department.

•         Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company’s values.

•         Facilitate and conduct training with new production associates.

•         Assist with on-the-job training with new production associates including new hire orientation.

•         Improves upon and develops new and/or existing training materials.

•         Assist with evaluating and determining training needs of production associates.

•         Audits completed training and identifies training gaps.

•         Monitor training to ensure goals and expectations are being met.

•         Organize work, set priorities, meet critical deadlines and provide follow-up on assignments and pertinent activities with minimal direction.

•         Promotes training and education programs through various communication methods.

•         Reviews policy and procedures with all production associates.

•         Works with management on creation of work standard and work instructions to insure they are accurate, understandable and follow company standards and/or processes.

•         Use work instructions and other training materials to instruct associates on their daily work activities.

•         Meets regularly with management staff to ensure their support and involvement in training of associates.

•         Continually seeks to improve work processes.

•         Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.)

•         Regular and predictable attendance is required.

•         Able and willing to work any shift assigned, weekends and overtime.

•         Able and willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include adjusted start and end schedule times.

•         Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all duties.

•         Keeps work areas clean and orderly.

•         Participates in continuous improvement activities.

•         Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.

Success Factors:

•         Extensive knowledge of company policies and procedures and plant work centers.

•         Ability to work with QMS database at a basic level.

•         Ability to effectively communicate via email/electronically

•         Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office at a basic level

•         Able and willing to coach, mentor, and train associates on a one-on-one basis as well as a group.

•         Able to set goals and expectations and maintain high levels of feedback.

•         Able to work effectively with different departments within our company.

•         Detail orientated, able to multi task and work independently

•         Responsible for reading and understanding the IATF 16949, ISO9001: 2015 and ISO-14001 procedures located at K:/winapps/data/TS Team/Quality System Documentation.

•         To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Educational & Working Experience:

•         Two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
