Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Human Resources - Training Rep 3 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Bachelor's Degree in related field and 6 years; or Master's degree and 4 years of relevant professional experience.

Special Requirements:

o Bachelor's Degree in Business or Associates Degree with experience in drafting and/or ship construction

o Master's Degree with 18 graduate credits in Communications, Engineering, History, Mathematics, Physics, or Psychology

o Experience teaching in both face to face and online environments

o Familiarity with instructional and course management technology as well as course design


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs. May be responsible for development of e-learning programs.



REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree required.

School must be accredited.


WORK HOURS:

5/40 work week. Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. 25% possibility to be remote.
