$30.23 - $53.58Job DescriptionJob Summary:

This position exists to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and generate revenue that represents the full range of Saint Paul College's training solutions, while maintaining personal account responsibilities. Responsibilities include client engagement activities related to business needs analysis, architecture of high-level learning/skills solutions and design of instructional learning. The Customized Training Representative works collaboratively with Sales Coordinators, clients, and internal Saint Paul College staff in the development and evaluation of proposed learning solutions. Primary connection role between client and sales team requires an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key partners. This position is designed as a sales position requires the Customized Training Representative to sell training services to all potential clients.

Job Duties:
  • Foster client relationships and analyze organizational needs to meet the needs of a skilled workforce through employee and organizational development.

  • Coordinate and implement customized training contracts to meet financial goals

  • Manage and provide solutions for grants & grant proposals to meet grant goals.

  • Design and promote continuous improvement processes to meet financial goals.

  • Promote positive community and intercollegiate relationships to contribute to achieving sale goals.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and maintain the reputation of the organization as a viable business partner.

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $30.76 to $54.52 hourly.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2 years' experience in direct sales, consulting, training, fundraising, or membership development

  • Knowledge of adult education and learning theory and practice sufficient for programming and curriculum development, needs assessment and evaluation

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively sufficient to develop professional and employee training services, products, programs, marketing materials and write proposals for contracts and grants to deliver them

  • Ability to meet or exceed sales goals or expectations

  • Ability to work with little direct supervision, within general guidelines and state policies, in a flexible and adaptable manner, handling multiple tasks and priorities

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite software

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of State rules and regulations regarding providing services to business and industry, contracting with vendors/consultants, purchasing materials and supplies, documenting and reimbursing expenses

  • Understanding of the structure of academic programs offered at the colleges

  • Experience with developing budgets

  • Good marketing/entrepreneurial skills

  • Ability to learn industry-specific language

  • Ability and willingness to travel to various business/industry sites

  • Supervisory experience
