HVAC Service Apprentice - Northern Virginia

F.H. Furr, a leader in residential plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services for over 40 years, is seeking motivated individuals to join our HVAC Service Apprentice Program in Northern Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping customers. No HVAC experience is required-we will provide the training you need to build a successful career.
Our fully paid HVAC Apprentice Program begins August 3, 2026, at the Furr Academy, located at our headquarters in Manassas, Virginia.
What You'll Do
As an HVAC Service Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in the heating and cooling industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Learn to install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems under the guidance of experienced technicians
  • Assist with diagnostic and troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve HVAC system issues
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating professionally and addressing homeowner concerns
  • Support technicians with service calls, system inspections, and routine maintenance
  • Identify customer needs and collaborate with team members regarding additional products and services that may enhance comfort and efficiency
  • Follow all company safety practices and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
  • Participate in classroom and hands-on training through the Furr Academy
