We have multiple assistant department manager opportunities available:

  • Assistant Department Managers (in training)

    • Assistant Deli Manager

    • Assistant Seafood Manager

    • Center Store Lead

    • Assistant Bakery Manager

    • Assistant Produce Manager

    • Assistant Customer Service Manager

    • Assistant Floral Manager

All positions at Schnucks are customer focused and we are looking for teammates that will provide friendly and courteous service to our customers.

DUTIES

  • Provide friendly and courteous service to customers

  • Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Act with integrity and maintain confidentiality.

  • Time Management and Prioritization.

  • Problem Solving and Decision Making.

  • Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, and cases, following company safety and sanitation procedures

  • Ensure department standards are met.

  • Stock, rotate and straighten product

  • Read and understand shelf tags and signage

  • Follow all opening and closing procedures within the department

  • Ability to coach, develop, and inspire others to be the best they can be-relationship building.

  • Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management

TRAINING

Training will be provided at store level.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Bending

  • Stooping

  • Must be able to lift up to 25-100 pounds (depending on the job)

  • Working on feet for 8 hour shifts

  • Working in cold and warm environments

Additional Requirements - Internal Candidates:

  • Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
  • Store Support Center Teammates:minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
  • Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
  • If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
