POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the Human Resource Manager, Managers, and Supervisors to facilitate the efficient operations of the organization.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • ย Oversee reception area/lobby, receive and directs visitors and clients. Answer, screen, and transfer in bound phone calls.
  • ย Ensure employee break room is fully stocked and maintained.ย 
  • ย Perform purchasing functions: create purchase orders, file receivers, and purchase orders, and maintain spreadsheet for expense tracking.
  • ย Perform time keeping functions, Paylocity edits, and training hours.
  • ย Maintain and distribute attendance, crewing and other HR related reports
  • ย Schedule and organize complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, and department activities.
  • ย Maintain training matrix, verify attendance and points. Create, maintain, and distribute reports regarding employee training.
  • ย Assist with maintenance of office equipment, coordinate repair of equipment and review of equipment contracts.
  • ย Assist with Plant record keeping and filing; including personnel and safety records.
  • ย Keep track of office and Plant supplies consumable items, send requisition to replenish supplies when needed.
  • ย Other office functions as directed by supervisor.


OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ย HR related functions are sensitive and must be held in a confidential manner;
  • ย Responsible for following all Safety Rules, policies, procedures and work instructions;
  • ย Responsible for following all Food Safety related policies and procedures;

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

  • ย HS Diploma

EXPERIENCE:

  • ย Competent computer skills
  • ย Experience in Human Resource and other office functions preferred.
  • ย Computer skills: Microsoft office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • ย Knowledge of operations of standard office equipment
  • ย Knowledge of principles and practice of basic office management.
