Job Title: DC Training Coordinator

Hours: Primarily 2nd shift and 3rd shift hours, must be flexible based on training needs.

We are seeking an ambitious DC Training Associate to join our world-class team at Ferguson Enterprises! Responsibilities
  • Ensures inbound shipments of moderate importance levels are received and registered correctly
  • Undertakes general warehouse duties facilitating the flow of goods
  • Supports the site management to comply with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, completing documentation and records as required
  • Leads initial orientation and discusses overall training schedule
  • Conduct and facilitate on-the -job training programs for Ferguson DC associates, both new hires and existing
  • Trains new and current associates on safety requirements within the warehouse
  • Completes one-on-one training of job specific warehouse operations and WMS processes with new and existing associates
  • Audits the work of all associates for adherence to training standards and SOPs
  • Meets regularly with Operations Manager and department leaders to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement
  • Ensures proper tracking of training status for each associate
  • Audits training processes for each department to ensure consistency to SOPs
  • Is responsible for Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training in the warehouse including initial certification, recertification and accident retrainings
  • Provide recurrent training for all certification and required safety training programs
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced associates
  • Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned .
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Ability to strictly follow safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Physical capability to carry out warehouse tasks, including lifting and transporting heavy objects.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
