Job description

The Tracking Representative is responsible for tracking carriers' progress on Solutions customer shipments. The role will manage shipment pick ups, deliveries, and loads in transit while identifying and resolving issues
Responsibilities
  • Proactive and diligent execution of on-time tracking and tracing for all shipments in transit.
  • Disseminate relevant and accurate tracking updates to internal team members.
  • Continuous maintenance of internal and external platforms with updated shipment details as required.
  • Communicate with drivers and carriers' load requirements and details to ensure a successful lifecycle from dispatch to delivery with little to no issues.
  • Field any and all inquiries from customers and/or carriers regarding the status of a specific shipment.
  • Gather driver information and perform check calls as needed (i.e Dispatch, pick up/arrival, pickup/depart, in-transit, cosignee/arrival, cosigness/depart).
  • Update tracking information in shipments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Fast-paced and able to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to take verbal/written instruction and execute with confidence.
  • Skilled in negotiation strategy.
  • Ability to work as a team or independently.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to focus on multiple projects at once

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant equivalent experience required.
