To thrive as a Tracking Manager, you need a solid background in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control, often supported by a bachelor's degree in business or logistics. Familiarity with tracking software, RFID systems, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools is typically required. Exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication are vital for coordinating teams and resolving issues efficiently. These competencies are essential to ensure accurate, timely tracking of goods and information, ultimately supporting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job description

Tiger Tracks is a fully remote performance marketing agency founded by former Google leaders and ranked #123 on the 2025 Inc. 5000. We work with growth-stage and enterprise brands to drive measurable outcomes through paid media, analytics, and data-driven strategy. Our team of 27 is lean, high-performing, and deeply committed to accountability in everything we build.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an Analytics & Conversion Tracking Specialist to own the technical measurement layer across our client accounts. This is a high-impact, hands-on role at the intersection of paid media and data infrastructure -- you will be responsible for making sure that every dollar our clients spend is tracked, attributable, and reportable with confidence.
You will work closely with our internal analytics lead and client success team to resolve tracking issues, implement best-in-class measurement setups, and build the systems and documentation that allow us to scale without sacrificing accuracy.
What You Will Own
Conversion Tracking Implementation
  • Own end-to-end implementation of conversion tracking across Google Ads, Meta, and other paid platforms using Google Tag Manager (client-side and server-side), GA4, and pixel/event configurations
  • Build and maintain GTM containers across client accounts -- including tags, triggers, variables, and data layer configurations
  • Set up and troubleshoot pixel, tag, and event configurations to ensure clean, complete data across all active campaigns
  • Ensure accurate attribution across the funnel, from click to conversion, in support of paid media performance reporting

Paid Media Team Support
  • Work directly with the paid media team to ensure conversion events, attribution windows, and reporting signals are correctly configured for each platform
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies between ad platform data and analytics data and communicate resolution clearly to media buyers
  • Support campaign launches by confirming tracking is verified and firing correctly before media spend goes live
  • Translate tracking findings into actionable guidance the paid media team can act on without needing to go back to source data

Issue Resolution & Triage
  • Audit existing tracking setups to identify gaps, misconfiguration, and data quality issues
  • Manage and close out a backlog of active tracking issues across client accounts
  • Serve as the escalation point for tracking-related client concerns

Analytics & Reporting Infrastructure
  • Configure GA4 properties, data streams, audiences, and conversion events
  • Support the build and maintenance of client-facing reporting dashboards
  • Partner with the account team to translate tracking data into actionable performance insights

Process & Documentation
  • Develop and maintain a tracking implementation playbook for use across accounts
  • Document all active tracking setups in a centralized, accessible format
  • Build QA checklists and routine audit processes to catch issues before they reach clients

What We Are Looking For
Required
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with conversion tracking and analytics implementation in a performance marketing or agency context
  • Deep proficiency with Google Tag Manager -- you build and manage containers, configure data layers, and troubleshoot both client-side and server-side setups independently
  • Strong working knowledge of GA4, Google Ads conversion tracking, and Meta Pixel / CAPI
  • Direct experience supporting a paid media team -- you understand how tracking accuracy affects bidding, reporting, and optimization decisions
  • Experience auditing and troubleshooting complex, multi-platform tracking setups
  • Familiarity with attribution models and their implications for paid media optimization
  • Strong communication skills -- you can explain a tracking issue to a non-technical stakeholder or media buyer clearly

Preferred
  • Experience in a fast-paced agency environment managing tracking across multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Looker Studio, BigQuery, or similar data tools
  • Exposure to server-side tracking solutions (Stape, Elevar, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of first-party data strategies and cookie consent frameworks

How We Work
Tiger Tracks is fully remote. We operate with a high degree of autonomy and expect team members to take ownership, communicate proactively, and close things out without needing to be chased. If you thrive in an environment where the work is real, the stakes are high, and the team is excellent, this is the right place.
Compensation
Competitive with market rates for specialists at this level. Engagement structure (full-time or contract) and comp to be discussed based on experience and scope.
