Areyou a compassionate and confident nurse looking to make a meaningful impact inPublic Health? We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join ourteam in the Southern Regional Center Clinic.

In this vital role, you'll be at the forefront of public service-providingskilled nursing care and support for persons of all ages. You'll be a part of apassionate team who are mission driven and prioritize client-centric care andcultural competence. Within Public Health, your expertise and commitment toservice will help improve lives and promote community wellness.
What you'll be doing: 

  • Assist clinical staff and Medical Providers with completing client visits toinclude: obtaining detailed health history information (i.e. immunizations,women's health, sexual health, substance use, mental health, and vital signs)
  • Exam chaperoning
  • Administering immunizations and medications (IM, SUBQ, PO, Inhalation)
  • Documenting within the EMR and NCIR
  • Communicate and collaborate across disciplines within and outside the agency tocoordinate care and services for clients i.e. specialty referrals, carecoordination
  • Provide in person and telephone triage for clients and other callers to addressconcerns promptly utilizing sound nursing judgement
  • Review and complete faxes and Prior Authorizations (PAs)
  • Other duties and responsibilities may include: 
  • Maintain clinic supplies
  • Actively participate with clinic CQI initiatives
  • Attend in-services, workshops, and trainings within and outside theorganization to maintain licensure and certifications
  • Rotateto additional sites to provide support when needed
  • Train and be readily available to assist Wake County in the event of anemergency

**Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm**  *THIS POSITION FLOATS BETWEEN REGIONAL CENTERS BASED ON CENSUS*
