Job description

What we will achieve together:
The Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with local, state and federal employment laws and regulations. Reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources, this role oversees the full employee life cycle, including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development, and Employee Relations.
The HR Manager is also responsible for driving continuous improvements in HR process and operational efficiency, while ensuring alignment with corporate policies, culture, and organizational values.
Base Salary Range: up to $115,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Propose and implement policies, and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal laws to effect continual improvements in efficiency of HR departments services performed.
  • Partner with department leaders to understand workforce needs and create effective plans to meet current hiring needs and company growth objectives.
  • Develop strategic workforce planning, processes, and tools to ensure effective plans to meet current hiring needs and company growth objectives.
  • Manage learning and development initiatives by assessing training needs, facilitating training programs, and evaluating and measuring effectiveness through participant feedback and performance metrics.
  • Manage employee relations issues, by addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations and implementing corrective action to maintain a positive and compliant work environment.
  • Support talent management programs, including annual review, talent review and development planning, through clear communication, training and effective process follow-up.
  • Lead communication of HR policies, procedures, and change management initiatives, including alignment with corporate social responsibility activities, to foster a motivated and connected workforce.
  • Ensure and appropriate working environment based on Groupe SEB's code of ethics, policies, and procedures that align with health and safety compliance.
  • Manage office operations, including oversight of administrative responsibilities and supervision of temporary or outsourced support staff.
  • Lead key HR projects in with corporate priorities as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Human Resources, preferably in a company with international presence and fast paced environment.
  • Strong comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and project s simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment and selection processes.
  • Certificate such as PHR or SHRM-CP is preferred.

  • Sitting or standing at desk while using phone or computer
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
