In-N-Out Burger has an excellent opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator (TEMP) based in our Irvine, CA * office. This position will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources department with a variety of projects and will be for six months with possibility of extension.
*This role is based full time onsite
General Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of HR administrative and operational support tasks, including responding to inquiries, maintaining records, and managing data entry.
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
  • Distribute incoming department mail, respond (orally & in writing) to regularly occurring requests for information.
  • Collaborate with other departments and all functions of HR (Benefits, Talent, Payroll, Operations, Marketing, etc.)
  • Process employee badge requests, maintain records, prepare mailings, manage document production and support day-to-day administrative operations.
  • Assist with annual projects which includes Anniversary award distribution as well as roster creation and Christmas gift distribution.
  • Projects will range from clerical to more complex administrative tasks.
  • May assist with overflow work from other HR Associates.
  • Maintain the annual Social Committee calendar and coordinate workplace celebrations, including birthday and work anniversary recognitions.
  • Fulfill personnel file requests for associates and authorized internal and external requestors.
  • Manage office and kitchen supply inventory, including monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and replenishing shared spaces.
  • Coordinate business card orders and process vendor invoices.
  • Support emergency preparedness efforts by maintaining evacuation supplies, safety equipment, and emergency documentation.

  • Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Department needs may call for occasional overtime
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $28.47 per hour
  • The above represents the expected hourly rate for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is a plus.
  • 1- 2 years of administrative experience. HR coordinator experience, or relevant administrative experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of human resource processes and best practices.
  • Must be a self-starter and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • SharePoint, Canva and Asana experience a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications for INO associates
  • In-N-Out Burger Store experience: 2+ years (past or current Store experience) highly preferred.
  • In-N-Out Burger Support experience: 2+ years in a Support, Administrative or Office role.
  • An Associate who is motivated and driven by the 2nd part of In-N-Out's Mission/Purpose statement: Providing a team-oriented atmosphere whereby goal-setting and communications exist, and to provide excellent training and development of all our associates.

Work Location Details
In-N-Out Burger plans to bring its west coast headquarters team back together under one roof by the end of 2029. After maintaining two Southern California office locations for many years, the company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and once again headquarter the company's western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948. Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from our western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029. We are sharing this information early so candidates can make informed decisions while considering a career with In-N-Out Burger.
