Temporary HR Administrative Assistant / HR Generalist

Position: Temporary HR Administrative Assistant / HR Generalist

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Locations Supported: Chino, Pico Rivera, and Fontana, CA


Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Temporary HR Administrative Assistant / HR Generalist to provide comprehensive Human Resources support during a leave of absence. This role will support HR operations across three manufacturing locations and requires a professional who can work independently while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily and weekly Kronos timekeeping audits to ensure employee time

records are accurate and compliant.

  • Process and maintain employee information within Workday HRIS.
  • Provide day-to-day HR administrative support for the Chino, Pico Rivera, and

Fontana facilities.

  • Assist employees and managers with HR-related questions, policies, an procedures.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive

information.

  • Support onboarding and other HR administrative processes as needed.
  • Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence using Microsoft Word

and Excel.

  • Assist with various HR projects and provide general administrative support to the

HR department.

  • Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and management across

multiple locations.


Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of Human Resources experience required.
  • Previous HR experience within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Kronos timekeeping systems, including timecard

audits.

  • Experience using Workday HRIS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multiple locations.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employee records management, and

timekeeping processes.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the HR team.
