As an intern at Ware Malcomb, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals. The Human Resources Intern will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day administrative functions of the Human Resources Department under the direction of the Human Resources Generalist. 
 
This is a paid, fully onsite internship. Candidates must be able to work in person at the Irvine office.
Your Role
  • Provides excellent customer service to the Human Resources and Payroll team
  • Partners with Human Resources Generalist on administrative functions, such as data entry in various Human Resources-related databases
  • Assists with creating and maintaining team members’ electronic personnel files
  • Responds to inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters
  • Assists in onboarding activities for new team members
  • Assists with data entry and data scrubs
  • Supports company culture and company events
  • Performs ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented are essential traits required of the individual.
  • Ability to positively interface with all levels of team members is essential.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple and competing tasks is essential.
  • Evokes a teamwork mentality and is dependable.
  • Demonstrates confidentiality in all aspects of the Human Resources Department is essential.

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, licensing, project specialty/complexity and work location. We may exceed the posted compensation range for candidates who surpass the posted requirements. At Ware Malcomb, certain roles are bonus eligible.
