Our client is a fashion/apparel company. They seek a temp to perm Controller to join their Queens, NY office.


Requirements

  • Prepare consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Strengthen accounting internal controls and enhance financial governance processes
  • Support ERP enhancements, process improvements, and finance system optimization initiatives
  • Transition controllership responsibilities from outsourced providers to in-house operations
  • Develop budget-to-actual reporting, dashboards, and variance analysis for departmental performance
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close calendars to ensure timely financial reporting
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve ERP integrations and operational accuracy
  • Implement automated reporting tools and workflow enhancements to increase efficiency and visibility
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, inventory accounting, payroll reconciliations, and financial reporting
