Job description

JOB TITLE: Sales Technology Portfolio Manager

Department: Information Technology

Location: Contract | On-site at Milwaukee, WI

This is a contract role with an anticipated duration of approximately six months. The need for the role will be reevaluated based on business and organizational needs.

Reports to: IT PMO Manager

Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a contract IT Sales Technology Portfolio Manager to establish and oversee the IT Sales Technology work pipeline, ensuring alignment with the broader IT PMO framework, enterprise priorities, and resource capacity. Working closely with the IT Sales Technology Director, business stakeholders, and the IT PMO, this role drives portfolio visibility, roadmap planning, and delivery coordination across Sales Technology initiatives.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, responsible for coordinating work across business, IT, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio & Delivery Management

  • Coordinate with the IT PMO and IT Sales Technology teams to establish and maintain intake, prioritization, governance, and work pipeline processes
  • Facilitate demand management, prioritization, roadmap planning, and capacity planning across the IT Sales Technology portfolio
  • Align Sales Technology initiatives with broader IT priorities, resources, and dependencies
  • Lead coordination of IT Sales Technology initiatives across Salesforce, CPQ, and related platforms
  • Maintain visibility into project status, milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, enhancements, and operational workstreams
  • Drive accountability across technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
  • Monitor and escalate risks, blockers, and resource constraints

IT Sales Technology Planning & Delivery

  • Coordinate IT Sales Technology enhancements, releases, and process improvement initiatives
  • Facilitate prioritization of business requirements, enhancement requests, and operational support work
  • Support release planning, testing, deployment readiness, and post-go-live activities

IT PMO Governance & Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and improve governance processes supporting intake, prioritization, roadmap planning, and portfolio visibility
  • Facilitate collaboration between IT Sales Technology leadership, business stakeholders, and IT teams
  • Coordinate portfolio planning and governance activities between IT Sales Technology and the IT PMO
  • Facilitate status meetings, roadmap reviews, stakeholder alignment sessions, and governance discussions
  • Provide project status updates, portfolio reporting, and executive-level visibility
  • Coordinate communications, dependency management, and organizational readiness activities

Required Skills

  • Experience managing enterprise applications or technical IT projects
  • Experience supporting CRM, Salesforce, or customer-facing technology initiatives preferred
  • Strong understanding of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-through skills
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Wrike or similar
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and collaboration tools
  • Self-starter with strong ownership, initiative, and follow-through

Education: Bachelorโ€™s Degree required, Masterโ€™s Degree preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT environment
  • 5+ years managing enterprise or technical IT projects
  • Experience working within manufacturing environments preferred
  • PMP, Scrum Master or related project management certification preferred
  • Salesforce project experience strongly preferred.
