MWI Animal Health UK, part of Cencora, has a wealth of experience delivering a quality wholesale service, a secure supply chain, and business continuity for customers across the UK. Combined with market-leading, innovative practice technology and one of the largest group purchasing organisations, we work in partnership to support veterinary practices, animal owners, manufacturers, and retailers.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting new role within MWI's growing technology division, reporting directly to the National Technology Manager. As a Senior Technology Manager, you will be a key driver of growth across the UK veterinary market - leading your own pipeline, pursuing warm leads passed by Territory Managers, and independently prospecting new practice relationships. You will be the go-to expert in the field for Merlin Practice Management System and MWI's wider technology portfolio, and will play a mentoring role for junior members of the technology team.

What You'll Do

Drive revenue and gross profit through the sale of Merlin PMS, MWI Connect, and associated technology solutions

Independently generate and pursue your own pipeline of new business opportunities

Follow up and convert leads passed by the Territory Manager network

Deliver compelling product demonstrations of Merlin to veterinary practices

Build a structured target list of practices not yet engaged through the TM network

Represent MWI at industry events, trade shows, and Community Days

Maintain accurate CRM data and structured call planning

Support and guide junior Technology Managers as part of a collaborative team

Contribute to corporate technology initiatives where required

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Proven track record of selling veterinary Practice Management Systems

Demonstrated success in B2B field sales - winning new business and managing accounts independently

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build and manage your own pipeline

Excellent communicator - confident presenting technology solutions to practice owners and clinical teams

Full UK driving licence

Highly self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a field-based role

Desirable:

Experience selling to or within the veterinary sector

Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales planning processes

Knowledge of IT environments - networks, hardware, and software systems

Experience coaching or mentoring junior sales colleagues
