Job Summary:
The Technology Sales Specialist works with Fabick Cat Territory Managers and Fabick Technology Specialist to assist in merchandising of Technology products. This candidate should live in the Southeast or East coast of the United States and be able to travel and manage their territory.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and control Fabick Teledyne Territory including the following states: Missouri, Kansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virgina, Georgia and Alabama to include Teledyne Construction Products, Trimble Marine, Rajant, sales, rental and demo fleet inventory.
  • Manage AMP agreements between SITECH Dealerships inside and outside of Fabick Technology Services - Teledyne Construction Territory
  • Test and assist with the installation of new products.
  • Trouble shoot and assist in solving customer equipment problems or failures.
  • Manage and distribute loaner inventory.
  • Provide hotline phone support.
  • Liaison between Teledyne, Trimble, and Fabick regarding Technology products
  • Play lead role with the integration of any new product offerings into Fabick's current offerings.
  • Assist with customer demonstrations and training.
  • Develop and lead Fabick's Technology Services ongoing and yearly classroom training offerings
  • Assist in the sales process of technology product as needed per Machine Control and Guidance specialists or Territory Managers
  • Perform on-site field support as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in sales or marketing preferred.
  • Level 3 Trimble Certification preferred.
  • MSHA Certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of related work experience required.
  • 5+ years' experience testing and training Trimble or related product preferred.
  • 5+ years experience testing and training Teledyne Marine or related product preferred.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong knowledge of product to be able to diagnose failures or problems and perform repairs/solve problems with customers on site or via phone.
  • Ability to manage inventory levels within guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
