Cisco-Eagle is a leading material handling systems integrator and distributor. We provide creative supply chain and order fulfillment solutions for our clients which can include conveyor systems, storage and retrieval systems, robotics, cranes, palletizers, stretch wrappers, storage racks, mezzanines, security cages, safety gates, and other products used in warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing. We’re looking for a new addition to our web sales team in Dallas, Texas. This associate will support our business objective of providing superior customer service, thoroughly attending to the details of orders to make sure customer satisfaction is not left to chance.
We are a distributor for hundreds of vendors, representing thousands of products within the material handling industry. This department is responsible for answering all inbound calls and online chats from customers. These calls typically include customers who would like to place an order, request a quote, check on an order status, or simply need assistance in selecting the correct product for their application. Many times, our Inside Sales Associates must research information—not readily available—by contacting the manufacturer directly. The selected candidate will need to be able to learn products quickly and communicate mechanical specifications to our customers.
Another aspect of this department is processing all inside sales orders. This involves entering orders into our ERP, verifying correctness of part numbers, prices, shipping information, etc., and also includes entering any changes which need to be made after the initial order is entered. Once an order is entered, this department sends order confirmations to customers, checks vendor acknowledgements against all orders, checks and verifies order ship days and records appropriate tracking numbers. Any changes or delays are communicated to customers.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and respond to leads generated through the company website and online inquiries
  • Provide knowledgeable answers to customer questions about products and technical systems
  • Prepare accurate quotes and process sales orders in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time, accurate order delivery
  • Serve as a point of contact for both internal and external customers, handling inquiries with professionalism and care
  • Address customer concerns with a courteous, solutions-oriented approach
Experience, Skills amp; Qualifications
  • Prior experience in inside sales, customer service, or a call center environment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and NetSuite ERP preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort discussing technical products
  • Proficiency with Windows-based applications
  • Experience in material handling equipment is a plus, but not required
  • High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
