Clinical Application Analyst - Laboratory System Support

Description

Coordinates maintain and update local components of systems used by Sutter Health Laboratory information systems (LIS). System supported include Sunquest Lab, Point of Care Systems - Telcor, Rapidcomm, Novanet, Alere, etc., and enterprise EMR. Participates in projects and implementation involving Laboratory service line. Coordinates Laboratories' effort for upgrades and accreditation activities. Advises Laboratories on the optimal use of Laboratory System.

Requirements / Qualifications

In-depth experience of Lab or Healthcare related applications.

Lab System vendor or Clinical Laboratory System experience.

Expertise in use and maintenance of Sunquest Lab System

Experience in consulting with vendors, clients, and management.

Exposure to Epic EHR

Strong problem and issue resolution experience.

Thorough knowledge of Laboratory processes and workflow required.

MT (ASCP), CLS, or similar Laboratory certification required.
