Work Arrangement
Hybrid = Associate must be in the Newtown Square, PA, office at least three (3) days per week, including core days of Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Responsibilities:
The Strategy & Planning Manager is responsible for assisting in one or several of the three key functions of the department: (1) Corporate Strategy, (2) Strategic Analytics, and (3) Strategic Insights. The Strategy & Planning department predominantly develops strategy and business planning deliverables and facilitates discussion for the CEO, the Executive Council, and the Board of Directors. The Manager will have expertise in several areas, which may include strategic planning, business planning, analytics, competitive analysis, market research, financial analysis and modeling, and/or M&A evaluation. The Manager mentors Analysts and Senior Analysts, and leads teams on the execution of assigned Strategy & Planning projects.
  • Supports Strategy & Planning Directors, working independently with general supervision
  • Leads Strategy & Planning projects as assigned by the Director
  • Facilitates meetings, develops work plans, and conducts interviews with internal leaders
  • Conducts research and develops senior executive and Board level deliverables
  • Develops analyses/models (e.g., market analysis, competitor analysis, corporate portfolio analysis, financial analysis, capability gap analysis)
  • Diagnoses internal and external challenges and identifies strategic opportunities to address the challenges
  • Develop materials for Executive Briefings and CEO Support
  • Support Government Relations Activities

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years experience
  • Strategy experience either at a management consulting firm or within a corporate development or corporate strategy department
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Health care industry experience
