The Strategic Finance Analyst will support EverVet’s Strategic Finance & FP&A function by delivering financial analysis, reporting, and operational insights that inform decision-making across the enterprise.
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Finance & FP&A, this role partners closely with Finance, Operations, and Business Development to translate hospital and corporate data into actionable insights that support budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and growth initiatives.
This position is ideal for a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional seeking to grow within a high-performing, private-equity backed, multi-site healthcare organization.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Forecasting Support
  • Assist the Director with coordination and preparation of the annual budget, quarterly reforecasts, and multi-year planning models.
  • Support development of driver-based forecasting models that connect operational performance to financial outcomes.
  • Track business unit performance against goals and initiatives to support enterprise forecasting.
Performance Management & Reporting
  • Compile and prepare dashboards, reports, graphs, and charts across partnered hospitals.
  • Produce consolidated and unit-level financial reports, including actuals vs. budget and YoY analyses.
  • Validate and reconcile data; perform quality checks to ensure data integrity.
Operational & Strategic Analysis
  • Prepare detailed financial analyses and ad hoc reports for Senior Leadership, the Board, and local management teams.
  • Identify cost savings and efficiency improvement opportunities to inform planning and forecasting.
  • Assess the financial impact of potential acquisitions and support diligence and valuation analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Respond to inquiries from corporate and hospital management teams.
  • Coordinate with Finance colleagues to collate data for consolidated reporting and timely close cycles.
  • Partner with Operations and Business Development to support strategic initiatives.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3 + years of experience in multi-site support and veterinary/healthcare industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of P&L statements and operational metrics in a hospital or services environment.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
