Overview

The Strategic Finance Analyst serves as a key financial partner to the business, responsible for evaluating strategic development opportunities, driving financial planning and analysis, and delivering actionable insights through ad hoc analysis. This role bridges the gap between financial data and business strategy, enabling leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions that support PPL’s corporate goals. 


Responsibilities

Requirements 

  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and business performance evaluation. 
  • Support the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, data room management, and interaction with counterparties. 
  • Evaluate organic and external growth opportunities through the creation of discounted cash flow models to support strategic decision making. 
  • Automate existing processes to improve timeliness and accuracy of financial data. 
  • Develop original financial analysis to provide new insights into corporate performance. 
  • Conduct in-depth industry research and competitive benchmarking to identify market trends and strategic opportunities. 
  • Prepare executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and commentary for leadership and board-level reviews. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with personnel from PPL's business lines and other corporate support group functions. 
  • Analyze and prepare monthly and quarterly reports as requested by management. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
  • Comply with all policies and standards.
