Senior Strategic Financial Analyst

Location: 30 minutes north of Boston – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Compensation: $110K–$125K + 10% bonus
Experience: 3–6 years
Reports to: Head of FP&A

We are working with a growing company that is looking to add a Senior Strategic Financial Analyst to its finance team. A new Head of Finance is building out the team and creating a more strategic, business-partner-focused finance function.

This person will serve as the finance lead for the GTM/revenue organization, partnering directly with Sales and Business Development leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic analysis. This is a high-visibility role where you’ll have the opportunity to go beyond reporting and help drive business decisions.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with VP-level and department leaders across Sales and Business Development on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Serve as the primary finance partner for the GTM/revenue organization.
  • Build complex financial models and conduct detailed analysis using advanced Excel.
  • Answer strategic business questions and provide insights that help leadership make better decisions.
  • Present financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance and FP&A team to continue building a more consultative finance function.
What They're Looking For
  • 3–6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a similar analytical environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales/revenue and experience working with sales or commercial teams.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Proven ability to produce analysis that influences business decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to senior, non-finance leaders.
