Overview
Due to growth, we are adding a Senior Strategic Planning Analyst to our department.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in strategic planning and prioritization, transforming complex data into compelling presentations that inform executive decisions. They will design and maintain forecasting models and planning tools that ensure clarity, alignment, and accountability across enterprise initiatives.
The Senior Strategic Planning Analyst plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making and operational efficiency within the Planning and PMO team. As part of the Strategy Organization, this position supports solving problems analytically, conducts research and interviews, synthesizes ideas, data, and produces documentation to represent the analysis or recommendations to leadership. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining planning, prioritization, and forecasting models, generating actionable insights through data analysis, and producing high-quality reports and presentations to inform leadership and cross-functional teams' decision making. The role collaborates closely with project managers, sales, finance, operations, technology, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and execution priorities.

Responsibilities
How do I make an impact on my team?
  • Builds and refines forecasting tools to anticipate trends, resourcing, risks, and opportunities across the project portfolio.
  • Generates and delivers recurring and ad hoc reports that provide insights into project performance, resource utilization, and financial impact.
  • Identifies, addresses, and creates frameworks as well as processes to address potentially complex, ambiguous strategic issues for Lumicera leadership.
  • Analyzes and translates large, complex data sets into clear, compelling takeaways and presentations for executive and cross-functional audiences.
  • Collaborates with PMO leadership and project teams to align planning efforts - such as timeline, process, and approach - with business objectives.
  • Supports annual and quarterly planning cycles with data-driven recommendations and scenario modeling.
  • Identifies gaps and opportunities in current planning processes and recommend improvements.
  • Ensures data integrity and consistency across planning tools and reporting systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
What our team expects from you?
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 7-8 years of work experience in business development, corporate or divisional strategy or strategic planning, corporate finance, consulting, or similar function in any combination that would provide the required experience.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting strategy analysis or strategic planning - including market and competitive research, process mapping, business case development and outputs, reporting/data tracking and governance is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience modeling and producing output towards breakeven, return-on-investment, internal-rate-of-return analyses preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating multi-functional, matrixed stakeholders discussions preferred.
  • Experience with project management, execution, or technology to participate meaningfully in discussions with operational, project management, and technology leaders in strategic planning discussions preferred.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent business judgement is preferred.
  • Experience developing Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau reports preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
