Job description

General Summary

Works closely with the Senior Director of Strategy Execution and executive leadership to develop, recommend and translate organizational strategy into actionable initiatives. This individual plays a pivotal role in driving the long-term implementation of strategic plans and cultivating partnerships that advance the organization's strategic priorities. The Strategy Execution Lead is a strategic thinker with strong research acumen, exceptional stakeholder relationship management abilities, and a passion for organizational transformation.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:

  • Bachelors Degree In Business or Healthcare. Required
  • Masters Degree MHA, MBA, MPH, MHS. Preferred

Work Experience:

  • 7 years Experience in strategy execution, management consulting, or corporate strategy. Required

Driver's License Statement:

Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior executives and influencing at all levels of the organization.
  • Broad knowledge of healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize project work, manage agreements.
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to function under pressure.
  • Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, independent thinking and management competencies.

Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:

  • Works closely with Senior Director of Strategy Execution to lead enterprise-wide strategic initiatives in alignment with the organization's strategic plan.
  • Develops and maintains strategic roadmaps and charters, ensuring milestones and desired outcomes are clearly defined and achieved.
  • Monitors progress, identifies risks, and implements corrective actions to ensure successful delivery.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, facilitating strategic planning sessions and translating vision into actionable plans.
  • Supports senior leaders with prospecting, including business case and valuation, opportunity analysis and scenario planning.
  • Designs and implements frameworks, tools and processes that enhance strategic thinking strategy development and execution across the organization.
  • Identifies and cultivates internal and external partnerships that support strategic priorities.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to align efforts and scale impact of strategic efforts.
  • Establishes KPI's and success metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
  • Conducts strategic market research to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics and growth opportunities that inform organizational decision making.
