Job Description:

The Strategy Execution Officer (SXO) is a critical role that supports the C-Suite within the Rotunda Capital Partners’ portfolio and provides an opportunity for MBA graduates to lead critical functions. An SXO will report directly to the company CEO and will have an assigned mentor from Rotunda. The SXO will take on the company’s most important value creation initiatives.

Potential Responsibilities:

·         Leadership and Strategy: As an instrumental part of the senior team, provide leadership toward value-added activities and support operational and departmental excellence

·         Growth Strategy: Lead and perform growth initiative analyses, including new geographies and product adjacencies.  Coordinate cross-functional input, synthesize into aligned recommendations, and supplement recommendations with financial modeling and analysis

·         M&A Strategy & Execution: Develop prospective M&A target lists and acquisition / integration playbooks, lead development of synergy assessment, integration project management and implementation and measurement of strategic initiatives and synergies at acquired companies

·         Strategic Financial Partner: Lead and perform growth initiative analyses, including coordinating cross-functional input, synthesizing inputs into aligned recommendations, and supplementing recommendations with financial modeling and analysis

·         Implementation of Rotunda Performance Systems (RPS) Playbooks: Work with Rotunda’s data and analytics staff, communicate with Rotunda’s deal team, train the company’s team and partner on strategic initiatives and processes, monitor and measure success, recommend tactical and strategic changes to achieve the greatest impact and oversee outside vendors 

·         Operational Execution: Utilize metrics, dashboards, operational checklists, and key performance indicators to drive optimal team performance; hold weekly meetings with middle managers to identify key operational insights and drive improvements where needed

·         Drive Innovation: Provide leadership toward additional value-added activities and support operational and departmental excellence

·         Technology Strategy: Lead strategic investments in technology through evaluation of solutions and service providers, project implementation, and change management

·         Executive Sessions: Join weekly executive team meetings and monthly Board of Directors meetings to provide insights and recommendations, including taking primary responsibility for putting together presentations and communicating progress against strategic initiatives

·         Represent Company: Through personal example, establish the style and approach which will characterize the company’s dealings with the marketplace

Mentorship & Growth Opportunities:

Qualifications:

·         Masters in Business Administration (Class of 2026 or earlier)

·         Minimum of 4 years of total work experience

·         Prior experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or in an operational role at a private equity-backed company preferred

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data in a concise manner, including presentations to board or other outside partners

·         Ability to work in collaboration with the executive team and staff members of varying education and experience levels

·         Ability to lead teams and inspire high attention to detail

·         Advanced Microsoft Office experience; strong Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint expertise is critical

·         Exceptional written and oral presentation skills; ability to present concisely and with detail

·         Strong organizational skills; must be able to manage and prioritize multiple business objectives and projects with the proper sense of urgency
