Job description

GCyber is hiring a ServiceNow Developer to support a high-profile Air Force communications program and its security operations center. The ServiceNow Developer builds the workflows, dashboards, and modules the program runs on, including incident management, change management, asset management, and project delivery.
This position is full time onsite at Joint Base Andrews, MD. Given the classified nature of the work, there is no opportunity for hybrid or remote work.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
As the ServiceNow Developer, you will:
  • Provide full spectrum ServiceNow development and build process workflows and wireframes with the Government's sprint and DevOps team.
  • Develop and implement across the ITSM, IT Business Management (ITBM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules.
  • Build dashboards and reporting that turn ticket and network data into trend analysis the customer can use.
  • Configure and customize the platform to reflect system design changes and equipment upgrades.
  • Respond to user configuration change requests and build them into the platform.
  • Support ServiceNow training for Government and contractor staff.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • DoD 8140/8570 IA baseline certification.
  • BA/BS and 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Development experience in at least two of ITSM, ITBM, and ITAM.
  • Experience with JavaScript, GlideRecord and GlideAjax, Flow Designer, scoped applications, Service Portal, and REST and SOAP integrations.
  • Experience working in a sprint model with a Government product owner.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM) and/or prior experience delivering instructor-led ServiceNow training.
  • Air Force or HAF/A1 ServiceNow experience.
