Job description

ServiceNow Developer

Location: Washington, DC (onsite)

Clearance: Active Secret (TS Preferred)

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000

Type: Exempt

About This Role

A ServiceNow Developer is needed to support a missionfocused federal program in Washington, DC. This fully onsite role involves designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow applications and integrations in a secure environment. An active Secret clearance is required on day one.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
  • Build and maintain scripts, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and automation.
  • Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and other data exchange methods.
  • Support upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure platform security and compliance.
  • Maintain documentation and support end users as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance (TS preferred).
  • 3+ years of handson ServiceNow development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and secure federal environments.
  • Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or System Administrator (CSA).
