Job description

GovCIO is currently hiring a ServiceNow Architect (AI + CSDM + Automation) with an active Secret clearance to integrate security practices into software development and infrastructure operations by automating secure delivery pipelines, compliance controls, vulnerability management, and deployment processes. This role is based in Arlington, VA, as a hybrid/remote position.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
  • Design scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned to enterprise architecture goals
  • Lead implementation of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, CMDB, and automation capabilities
  • Architect CSDM-based service models and CMDB structures
  • Implement ServiceNow AI capabilities, predictive intelligence, and virtual agents
  • Automate workflows and improve operational efficiency
  • Define platform governance, integrations, and development standards
  • Support roadmap planning and platform maturity assessments
  • Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems and cloud environments

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's with 12+ years of infrastructure/cloud engineering experience (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 8-12+ years of ServiceNow experience
  • Expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture
  • Strong understanding of the CSDM framework
  • Experience in CMDB design and governance
  • Proficiency in workflow automation
  • Experience with ServiceNow AI and NowAssist
  • Hands-on expertise with Integration Hub and APIs
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Experience in JavaScript development
  • ITOM discovery and automation

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred
  • Certified Application Developer
  • Certified Implementation Specialist
  • ITIL Foundation

Clearance Required: Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to attain DEA suitability
