Job description


We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow ITOM Developer to own enterprise CMDB governance, drive ITOM transformation, and deliver cross-functional technology programs at scale. This role sits at the intersection of IT infrastructure, security operations, and business systems requiring both deep platform expertise and strong executive stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end CMDB governance across a large enterprise environment, including CI class modeling, naming conventions, relationship mapping standards, and lifecycle processes that establish the CMDB as the authoritative source of truth for ITSM, ITOM, security operations, and compliance
  • Lead CMDB maturity assessments and large-scale data integrity remediation programs spanning millions of configuration items across hybrid on-premises infrastructure (Windows/Linux servers, network devices, cloud)
  • Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery, ITOM Visibility, and Service Mapping to enable real-time infrastructure impact analysis and service dependency mapping
  • Proficiency on event management rule configuration (ignore, enrich, group and respond).
  • Design and implement ITSM workflows and automation including Incident, Problem, Change, and Major Incident Management processes, along with custom request fulfillment solutions
  • Architect platform integrations and middleware solutions using Service Graph Connectors, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and REST APIs to onboard external data sources (security tools, cloud inventories, monitoring systems, and enterprise applications) that enrich CMDB coverage
  • Build custom applications and modules leveraging ServiceNow's Studio, UI Builder, and App Engine to extend platform capabilities aligned with business requirements
  • Establish platform governance standards including development best practices, code review processes, instance architecture decisions, and sandbox/deployment strategies
  • Partner with enterprise architecture and infrastructure teams to align ServiceNow platform strategy with broader IT modernization initiatives, cloud migrations, and digital transformation programs
  • Lead training sessions, workshops, and adoption programs that drive platform usage and improve data quality practices across teams
  • Serve as the technical escalation point for complex platform issues, providing expert guidance on configuration, customization, and troubleshooting across all ServiceNow modules

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of enterprise ServiceNow experience with deep expertise in CMDB, ITOM, Discovery, and Service Mapping
  • Proven CMDB governance leadership with demonstrated experience owning enterprise-scale CMDB frameworks, including CI class design, reconciliation logic, data quality controls, and audit readiness
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations including Service Graph Connectors, REST APIs, and iPaaS platforms to connect ServiceNow with diverse enterprise systems
  • ITIL fluency with strong working knowledge of ITIL-aligned service management processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset Management)
  • Program delivery at scale with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives across global business units, balancing strategic priorities with operational execution
  • Executive presence and excellent stakeholder communication skills, including executive reporting, cross-functional facilitation, and the ability to translate technical complexity into business value
  • Strategic execution discipline to see the big picture and develop comprehensive roadmaps, while obsessing over the details that make programs successful

Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Certified Implementation Specialist - CMDB/CSDM (CIS-CMDB)

  • Experience with SecOps modules including Vulnerability Response, Security Incident Response, and
  • Background in financial services or other high-compliance regulated environments

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $160,000 - $185,000.

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
