POSITION OVERVIEW

The Inside Sales Intern will support the Sales team in the promotion and sale of HVAC/R systems. This role is designed for students pursuing degrees in Engineering or Business who are interested in the technical, commercial, and operational aspects of building systems. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting sales engineering activities, proposal development, pricing, and customer engagement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the qualification and management of incoming sales leads
  • Support Sales Engineers with technical and commercial sales activities
  • Assist in preparing proposals, estimates, and pricing documentation
  • Track proposals, project timelines, and sales pipeline activity
  • Coordinate internal documentation related to system selections and project scope
  • Support customer communication and follow-up under the guidance of the sales team
  • Participate in internal sales, engineering, and project coordination meetings
  • Maintain organized and accurate sales and technical documentation
  • Adhere to company safety policies and professional standards

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office; CRM or estimating software exposure is a plus
  • Interest in HVAC/R systems, engineering-driven sales, or technical business development
