Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Channel Marketing develops and executes marketing strategies and promotions to support the achievement of sales and growth objectives in the assigned product category & channel. The Senior Manager, Channel Marketing leads large projects and a direct report to drive incremental revenue and margin growth. The Senior Manager, Channel Marketing develops new product and promotional tools to develop customer categories. The Senior Manager, Channel Marketing  creates analyses to manage existing business and identify margin improvements.

This role supports the Robotics & Digital Solutions (RDS) and Everyday Solutions (ES) channels, which delivers innovative products that combine cutting-edge technology with intuitive design to simplify everyday tasks. RDS & ES focuses on creating solutions that address practical needs across various aspects of daily life. 

The RDS & ES portfolio includes brands such as Minute Key, Axxess + and OTR, offering products and services like every day carry, key cutting, key accessories, key fob programming, pet tags, and more. Additionally, this role supports Big Box customers such as Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, Amazon, and other retailers. 

Essential Job Functions *

  • Team Leadership:Leads and manages a team of Channel Managers and Associate Channel Managers, providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
  • Channel Strategy:Develops and oversees the execution of channel strategies that align with overall company objectives and drive growth within the retail channel.
  • Budget Management:Manages the channel budget and tracks the financial performance of channel programs, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines and profitability targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management:Builds and maintains strong relationships with key customers, sales executives, and internal stakeholders.
  • Customer Presentations:Creates and delivers compelling customer presentations, line reviews, and new program opportunities.
  • Product Collaboration:Collaborates with product teams to guide the development of offerings tailored to retail needs.
  • Market Intelligence:Monitors market trends, competitor activity, and technological advancements to ensure Hillman Group remains at the forefront of channel strategy and product innovation.
  • Sales Support:Provides strategic guidance and support to the sales team, ensuring effective promotion of Hillman Group products
  • Direct the development and implementation of merchandising strategies.
  • Implementing channel marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team, senior managers, and other departments.
  • Guide the creation and implementation of pricing strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • 7+ years of marketing or channel management experience, ideally in retail, durable goods, or related ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to translate marketing strategy into measurable sales and account outcomes.
  • Experience with budget management and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing analytics tools
  • A deep understanding of B2B sales and marketing principles, as well as digital marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting large P&Ls.
  • Ability to translate technical product offerings into clear, compelling value propositions.
