Job description

Job Summary

The Rental Manager is responsible for managing regional rental operations across multiple branches while ensuring a consistent and positive experience for both internal teams and external customers. This role will require travel to branch and customer sites to support execution, drive compliance, and maintain strong relationships.

ย Responsibilities

  • Manage daytoday rental operations across an assigned region
  • Travel to branch locations as needed to oversee execution and operational consistency
  • Visit customer sites to support service delivery and resolve rentalrelated issues
  • Serve as a key contact for regional rental customer experience
  • Review and approve rental contracts for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure required documentation is complete (agreements, POs, COIs)
  • Approve discounts within limits and protect rental margins
  • Ensure all delivered rental equipment across the region is billed on time
  • Monitor open contracts for missed or delayed billing
  • Identify and address idle or underutilized equipment regionally
  • Execute fleet transfers, reassignments, and redeployment
  • Review service costs charged to rental and investigate variances
  • Supervise, train, and coach rental coordinatorsย 
  • Audit CRM activity to ensure clean opportunity progression
  • Act on customer feedback to improve satisfaction and retention

Qualifications

  • Experience in rental operations, equipment rentals, or multilocation operations
  • Strong understanding of contracts, pricing, and billing
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the region
  • Strong communication and relationshipmanagement skills
  • High attention to detail in a fastpaced environment

Compensation Range:
