Empower Rental Group is hiring a Rental Coordinator at the Support Center in Franklin. TN!

Empower Rental Group is a family of local equipment rental providers across the Southeastern US. We began with 3 locations in 2021 with the goal of being the difference in the equipment rental industry by doing everything differently.  We now have over 36 locations, and we are adding a Rental Coordinator to our Support Center team!

Summary

The Rental Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily rental operations by coordinating equipment availability, processing rental agreements, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from order to return. This role serves as a key point of contact between customers, sales teams, and branch operations, managing scheduling, documentation, and communication to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of rental requests. The Rental Coordinator also monitors contract details, billing accuracy, and equipment status while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to drive efficiency, responsiveness, and service excellence.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to inbound leads and guide customers through the ERG Way or rental.
  • Expand our existing customer base by fostering relationships with current customers.
  • Maintain and grow relationships to ensure that our customers receive a “best-in-business” sales, service, and support experience. 
  • Ensure customer education by sharing the latest and greatest ERG has to offer. 
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requisitions, complaints, and general communications. 
  • Develop new sales techniques and strategies to increase market share. 

Job Requirements

  • Basic understanding of equipment, types, availability, and rental process.
  • Highly motivated operational professional that can operate within the guidelines assigned.
  • High energy with a strong understanding of the revenue stream is a must.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and persuasion skills and positive professional attitude.
  • Detail orientation and accuracy is a must.
  • Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage various tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
  • Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.
  • Maintains a safe work environment.
