Job Overview & Essential Functions
Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Rental Manager at our MHC Truck Leasing location in Atlanta, GA. The Rental Manager plans and directs the Rental activities of the branch. Plans, organizes, directs and controls the efforts of the Rental Department personnel in the accomplishment of company objectives.
  • Directs and coordinates all activities of the Rental Department at branch assigned accomplishing objectives and defines sales goals.
  • Develops a sales and marketing program to achieve specific sales, utilization, and profit target based on current market conditions.
  • Evaluates Rental performance against established targets and standards and take appropriate actions as necessary. Appraises performance of rental personnel against established standards and targets.
  • Controls Rental utilization through the analyzation of market potential in accordance with established goals.
  • Develops and trains Rental Department personnel to ensure objectives are met.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
