Job description

Manager of Rental Operations

Key West, FL (Onsite)

Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 annually

Belcrest Vacations is seeking an experienced operational leader to oversee our Key West vacation rental business. This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys building teams, improving operations, and leading from the front.

You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, develop managers, improve operational performance, and create an exceptional experience for both guests and homeowners. This is not a role for someone who prefers to manage from behind a desk. We're looking for a hands on leader who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, solve problems, and support the team wherever needed.

Reporting directly to executive leadership, you'll oversee the daily operations of our vacation rental program, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, property operations, laundry, and rental management.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop managers across multiple operational departments
  • Create consistent processes and operating standards that improve efficiency and service
  • Drive accountability for guest satisfaction, property quality, and homeowner experience
  • Own departmental budgets, financial performance, occupancy trends, and operational metrics
  • Review financial results and identify opportunities to improve profitability
  • Partner with Accounting, Marketing, Reservations, HR, IT, and other departments to support business objectives
  • Inspect properties and operations to ensure Belcrest Vacations' quality standards are consistently met
  • Make informed decisions in a fast paced environment while balancing People, Process, Product, and Profit

What We're Looking For

  • Leadership experience within vacation rentals, hospitality, resorts, hotels, or another transient lodging environment
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&Ls, and operational performance
  • Experience leading multiple departments through other managers
  • A servant leader who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing high performing teams
  • A hands on leadership style with the ability to jump in and help wherever needed
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vacation rental management experience is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the Key West market is highly desirable
  • Hotel leadership experience will be considered, particularly candidates from smaller or independent properties who are accustomed to being actively involved in daily operations
  • Experience with property management software is a plus

Why Belcrest Vacations?

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a growing organization. You'll have the ability to shape operations, build strong teams, improve processes, and influence the future direction of the business while working alongside an experienced leadership team.

  • If you're an operational leader who enjoys developing people, improving systems, and delivering exceptional guest experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
