ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Manager to support a fast-paced Human Resources organization within a dynamic corporate environment in Waukesha, WI. This role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on talent acquisition leader who thrives in a high-growth environment and enjoys driving recruiting operations, talent strategy, and process optimization initiatives.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead day-to-day recruiting operations while partnering closely with business leaders to align hiring strategies with workforce needs and organizational priorities. This individual will oversee a team of recruiters, support high-impact hiring initiatives, enhance recruiting processes and technology, and help drive operational excellence across the talent acquisition function.


Job Description:

Team Leadership & Recruiting Operations

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals

• Manage daily recruiting operations, recruiter workloads, and team performance

• Provide hands-on support for full-cycle recruiting efforts, including high-priority and hard-to-fill positions

• Ensure recruiting processes are consistent, compliant, and focused on delivering a positive candidate experience

Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning

• Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities

• Serve as a strategic advisor on market trends, hiring risks, and long-term talent planning

• Support development and execution of recruiting strategies and hiring forecasts

• Manage and promote internal mobility initiatives and equitable hiring practices

Process Optimization & Systems Management

• Maintain and improve recruitment workflows, interview processes, and operational efficiencies

• Manage Applicant Tracking System (ATS) functionality and ensure data integrity

• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and scalable recruiting solutions

• Implement operational best practices to improve efficiency and candidate experience

Recruiting Analytics & Compliance

• Track, analyze, and report recruiting metrics and operational performance

• Ensure compliance with EEO, OFCCP, ADA, and applicable employment laws and regulations

• Audit hiring processes to mitigate compliance and legal risks

• Train hiring managers on compliant interviewing and fair hiring practices

Employer Branding & Talent Marketing

• Partner with HR and Marketing teams to support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives

• Help develop and promote a compelling employer value proposition across recruiting channels

• Support hiring events, talent campaigns, and external recruiting partnerships

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with recruiting vendors, job boards, contract recruiters, and external resources

• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, leadership, and hiring managers to support hiring goals

• Lead high-impact recruiting searches and strategic talent initiatives


Must Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

• 7+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role

• Strong understanding of recruiting operations, talent strategy, and modern recruiting tools

• Experience leading recruiting teams in fast-paced or high-volume environments

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills

• Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead complex initiatives

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

• Ability to travel occasionally for hiring events and business needs


Nice to Have Qualifications:
