Remote Student Services are support resources and programs provided to students virtually, rather than in person. These services may include academic advising, counseling, career guidance, technical support, tutoring, and access to library resources, all delivered over the internet. They are designed to help online or distance learners succeed academically and personally, ensuring they receive the same level of support as on-campus students. Remote Student Services often use video conferencing, chat, email, and online platforms to connect with students.

Job description

Student Services Coordinator

Here at LearnWell, we’ve dedicated ourselves to making a life-changing impact on the 10 million students currently in the U.S. who live with some type of behavioral health need (depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, eating disorder, substance use). For nearly 25 years, we have provided on-site instructional services within the hospital setting, helping students to continue their academic progress during treatment and successfully reenter the classroom.

LearnWell has a student services team that is small but mighty. As our company continues to grow, our student services team works collectively to ensure that all of our students have accurate documentation while ensuring compliance and security. We have a culture of being metric driven and thinking outside the box to strive for 100% of our students being approved for academic services. If this sounds like a team you’d like to be a part of, we’d love to hear from you.

LearnWell is looking for an organized and metric-driven Student Services Coordinator to ensure that all paperwork is entered and completely thoroughly for each of our students within our CRM. The role will entail data entry and data management tasks as well as communication and coordination with school district personnel. The ideal candidate for this role will maintain an uncompromising commitment to operational excellence and execution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Data entry and data management of all student information within our CRM platform.
  • Diligent review of required student documents within our CRM and collection of any missing information.
  • Communication to school district personnel regarding approval for students academic services, and collection of students schoolwork. Modes of communication would include phone, email, and/or fax.
  • Support to operational and teaching staff regarding information within our CRM and/or needed report generation

Position entails a 40 hour a week commitment, 8:00am-4:30pm- Monday through Friday. This position follows our traditional school year calendar so it's a 10 month role. Tremendous opportunity for growth and potential opportunity for work over the summer. We offer a very generous package of paid time off including vacation time, sick time, and federal holidays. We also offer healthcare benefits that include medical, dental, and vision. Additional benefits include paid family leave options, 401K, employer sponsored life insurance policies, and annual grants for tuition reimbursement. Position is a remote, work from home role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required. Business or Communication majors preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required
  • Proven professionalism with communication, both written and verbal
  • Must perform well under pressure, take initiative, and handle multiple tasks at the same time with strong attention to detail
